Affordable Therapy
Intern therapists offer therapy at reduced rates compared to registered psychotherapists, providing a cost-effective option without compromising on quality.
Affordable psychotherapy is therapy provided by a clinical intern—a graduate student undergoing supervised clinical training as part of an accredited Masters-level program in clinical psychotherapy. Sessions are supervised by a Registered Psychotherapist and Certified Play Therapist, ensuring rigorous ethical standards and excellent care. Working with an intern allows you access to therapy at a lower cost while also contributing to the growth and training of future mental health professionals.

Getting Started
Imagine what it would be like to start play therapy with us:
-
Start with a complimentary 15-minute consultation with Tina to discuss your concerns, goals, and how we can best support you or your child/teen. This initial conversation allows Tina to understand your needs and determine if we are the right fit to work together and which intern would be the most effective in meeting you or your child/teens needs.
-
Once we decide to move forward, you and the intern collaborate on a personalized therapy plan tailored to your or your child/teens unique needs and goals. We explore which therapy techniques would align most effectively with you or your child/teens needs and how these techniques can effectively address the challenges.
-
Sessions provide a confidential, non-judgmental space for you or your child/teen to explore, reflect, and grow. Whether in-person or virtually, each session is designed to support the healing process with empathy, expertise, and a commitment to personal well-being.
